Opaque metal faces cast a halo onto the wall behind them. Share the wall finish and surrounding light so we can discuss the intended effect.

A sign mounted away from the facade can face people approaching along the sidewalk. Discuss projection, clearance and the mounting surface before ordering.
Explore projecting blade signs →Photograph the whole storefront straight on, including the proposed sign area, entrance, neighboring signs and any canopy. Measure the usable width and height in inches or centimeters. Tell us whether customers approach on foot, from a parking area or along a road; a close-up photo alone does not explain the viewing conditions.
Keep the business name clear before adding a tagline or extra detail. Small strokes and fine graphics may need discussion at the proposed size. The mockup helps compare proportions on your actual building; confirm the final dimensions and construction in the written quote.
For a lighted business sign, choose between illuminated faces, a rear halo and a cabinet face. Front-lit and face-lit describe light passing through the letter faces. Metal backlit or halo-lit lettering directs light onto the wall instead. A double-lit design combines both effects.
Include a daytime photo and, if possible, an evening photo. Surface texture, wall color and existing exterior lighting affect the appearance. Read our backlit versus front-lit comparison before choosing the effect.
Describe rain exposure, direct sun, coastal conditions and the mounting height. Outdoor suitability, fixing points, power arrangements and any documentation need to be confirmed for the individual project. Illuminated signs use UL-listed components; this does not mean every complete custom sign has a UL listing.
Check landlord approval, sign-area restrictions and local permit requirements before approving production. Signage.LLC supplies the sign. You arrange local installation, assembly and electrical connection with an appropriate installer or electrician. We do not offer a nationwide installation service.
Send your artwork, facade photos, overall size, preferred lighting and finish, delivery city/state or ZIP code, and any opening deadline. Tell us whether the project is a new sign or replaces an existing sign. The custom sign pricing guide explains why size, complexity, lighting and mounting change the quote.
Your quote and mockup are free, with no payment or deposit. US shipping is free. Typical production takes 7–10 business days after design approval, followed by 6–8 business days in US transit. Confirm your schedule with us before ordering; these are separate stages.
A storefront sign identifies the shop or business at its entrance or facade. Outdoor business signage is a broader description that can also include projecting, yard and building signs. Start with the location and purpose, then choose an appropriate construction.
Share the logo, available sign area and facade photo. We review the lettering and graphic details with you before confirming a suitable design and quotation. We do not assume every logo can be made in every material or at every size.

Measure the permitted area and tell us the usual viewing distance and approach direction. The layout must suit the logo and space. We discuss the proportions in your mockup rather than promising a universal letter size for every location.
