Custom made for your brand

Custom Front-Lit Business Signs

Custom acrylic logo signs and lettering with illuminated faces. Front-lit, or face-lit, signs make the business name itself the bright focal point.

Light shines through the acrylic faces, keeping the lettering itself clear after dark. This is a different effect from a halo-lit letter with an opaque face.

Let the letter faces do the talking.

Choose front-lit lettering for your storefront or logo wall

What makes a sign front-lit?

The light is visible through the acrylic letter faces. A halo-lit sign instead casts light behind opaque faces. Front illumination is useful when the illuminated lettering is the look you want; compare the designs in their daytime and after-dark setting before deciding.

Build a useful storefront brief

Send a straight-on facade photo, overall sign area, logo file and approximate viewing distance. Tell us about the surrounding lighting, the delivery ZIP code and any opening deadline. The quote confirms face material, returns, mounting and power arrangements for your sign.

Questions about this sign type

Is front-lit the same as face-lit?

Yes, both describe light showing through the letter faces. Our front-lit signs use acrylic faces; construction, size and finish are agreed for the specific design.

What is the difference from a metal backlit sign?

Front-lit lettering illuminates the face. A metal backlit sign has opaque faces and creates a rear halo on the wall. A double-lit design combines front and rear illumination.

Can front-lit signs be used outdoors?

Tell us the location and exposure so we can quote suitable construction. Outdoor suitability, fixing points and electrical requirements must be confirmed before the design is approved.

What size front-lit sign should I choose?

Start with the available wall width and height, a facade photo and the typical viewing distance. Fine logo details and narrow strokes may need adjustment; we discuss these in the mockup rather than assuming every logo works at every size.
